IUI Treatment Explained: Process, Success Rate, and Cost in India
Between lifestyle changes and full IVF, there is a fertility treatment that is frequently underestimated — one that is less invasive, considerably less expensive, and for the right patient, genuinely effective. Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) places prepared sperm directly into the uterus around the time of ovulation, reducing the distance sperm must travel and improving the chances of fertilisation. If your investigations suggest a mild issue rather than a complex one, IUI may be the most appropriate and logical first step.

Jumping straight into an IVF cycle without a full workup first is a bit like starting a road trip without checking the fuel gauge, you might get lucky, but you're far more likely to hit a delay you could have planned around. Here's the testing checklist that actually matters before your first cycle.
Read articlePrimary vs Secondary Infertility
"But we did it before" is one of the most common things fertility specialists hear from couples struggling to conceive a second time and it's also one of the most misleading assumptions in fertility. Having a child once tells you almost nothing about how easily the next one will come.

FAQs
Questions couples ask first
Yes. Recurrent implantation failure and repeat IVF failure are a large part of her practice. These cases usually begin with a fresh diagnostic workup rather than repeating the same protocol, because the reason for the earlier failure determines what changes.
Once your baseline tests are complete, stimulation usually begins with your next cycle. For most couples that is two to six weeks from the first consultation, depending on which tests are pending.
Dr. Divya performs egg retrievals, embryo transfers, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy herself, and supervises the embryology lab protocols for every cycle under her care.
